Carol sent me this cute little baby feet she stitched for a friend. A very touching story as her friend lost her little boy at 2 weeks old and Carol stitched this in memory of him for her. Very very sweet.

Strawberry Cake by CCN finish for Crescent Colours

I had the honor of stitching and finishing the Strawberry Cake by CCN for Crescent Colours. This piece was stitched on 30ct WDW parchment and finished into a "box/cube" in the shape of a slice of cake. I love how this one turned out.

New finish - Needlebook

I have added another new finish to the service, a needlebook (not the sewn kind). Another stitcher asked if I would be able to make one that she had seen online somewhere and looked at the picture and this is what i came up with.

This one is 5x6 on the outside, a scissor pocket on the front inside along with 2 mother of pearl floss holders, needlekeep on inside back and then another scissor/accesory keep on the back. It is tied together by matching ribbon through the two eyelets and another ribbon on the outside to tie the front and back together.

Angel Flat Fold Finish

Here is a very pretty Angel (i believe it was a free design by Lavender & lace) stitched by Michelle. Michelle asked for a flat fold on this design and she also sent the backing fabric for this one. It couldn't have matched any better. The bow is in the middle but when i took the pic it was on the side (i guess i didn't get one on my camera of it in the middle). LOL

Here are a couple babies first ornaments that Carolyn stitched and asked me to finish for her. These are JBW designs and really cute in person. The fabric that the ornaments are laying on is the backing fabric.

New Finishes Added to My Service

I am adding the little pillow finishes to my finishing service. I am now comfortable with these little guys and having lots of fun with them. The cost to have one made will be $25.00. Again, just like the other services, if you have your own fabric, etc I will discount for that.

Also, scissor fobs will be added. I just never added them, totally forgot. :) These will be $15-$20 depending on the actual finish, how much detail, etc.

I haven't added any other pillow finishes as of yet, but stay tuned.... I will be working on some of my own stuff to work out the kinks, etc and when i am comfortable more pillows will be added. :)

Michele had sent me some of her patriotic stitches and i came up with these cute little pillows for her. And there is also a little turkey pinkeep. The turkey is a free design from Primitivebettys and one of the patriotic is a Shepherds Bush design and I believe the other is a Heart in Hand.

I finished "3" Chicks Rules by Lizzie Kate before Easter. The two flat-folds are Michelle and Carolyn's (no blogs). They both live here in AZ so i get to hand deliver them. :) They turned out really cute.

THe 3rd Chicks is Eileens (no blog) and I made it into a no sew cube. I had alot of fun with this one with the trimming around it.

Hanging Ornament Blackwork finish

I finished a blackwork piece for Theresa a few weeks back. She wanted it made into a door hanger. I really like how it turned out. I just went very simple on her piece so the colors would pop. I used a smokey black fabric on back with cording i made with good ole DMC 310 and just a couple little irrediscent (sp) beads around the edges. Theresa says she really likes it!!!

Here are a couple Halloween finishes that i did for Michele recently.

Wicked by PrimitiveBettys, which is a freebie on her site. And Halloween by La D Da that Michele stitched as well. I finished the Wicked pillow by handsewing it then just doing some criss crosses around it for a "prim" look. I DON'T sew but this was a simpler one to do. LOL And the Halloween one is a pillow stitched together with the whip stitch (biscournu style finish) and filled with poly pellets.

Also, here is a small finish I did for a lady at one of my LNS's. This was her very first "needlepoint canvas" pieces she ever did (years ago) and i made it into an ornament for her. This was also my first canvas piece to finish.

Hi! Here are a few more finishes.

First off I have 2 more finishes for Michele. One is the quaker flamingo she stitched and I finished it into a Hanging Pinkeep for her. And then the fair & square pieces she rec'd from Veronica. I made these into a heart shape pinkeep.

Next I have 3 finishes for Eileen. I have Smell My Feet she stitched into a no sew cube. A Merry Autumn by JBW designs into a pinkeep ornament and a santa piece she stitched into an ornament for her. I tried to steal the Autumn piece, i really like how this one turned out, but I still mailed it to her. LOL

I want to be able to dedicate myself to my commitments of finishing fully and right now until July 6th we still have a litter of 4 puppies driving me crazy. They will be going to their new homes then and i can fully commit to your stitched treasures.

Just a couple notes, for biscournus and pin pillows (bean bag pillows) I use poly pellets to fill it. I really like the weight that poly pellets give to the pieces and they are quite easy to work with. For pinkeeps, ornaments I do hand sew the 2 pieces together with a ladder stitch. I also do sometimes glue the ribbon on, if you do not want glue that is perfectly fine. If I use cording I sometimes handstitch that on as well as it stays in place alot better than glue. And no sew cubes are used with glue and pins. I use Alene's glue and you cannot see it, it dries clear and I am very careful about using just enough so it will not show.

How My Finishing Service Works

1)First you email me with your design size and how you would like it finished (my list of finishes are below).

2)If you have the "perfect" fabric, trims, etc that you want me to use that is fine, just let me know and a discount will be given at invoice. Please let me know if you want to choose from the fabrics/trims/pins, etc that i choose for your piece, there will be a few different choices or if you would like me to let my creative juices run.

3)Time frame will be 2 weeks (14 days) from date rec'd on my end not from the date mailed to me.

4)I will use US post office to mail, your choice of first class or priority mail and if you want insurance that is additional as well. Will invoice when finished with total.

5)Payments can be made through Paypal, US money orders or personal checks (will mail your piece when check clears). Just let me know how you are going to pay when we discuss your project.
